The Chickens and The Eagle

A few weeks ago I listened to a friend of mine deliver a message to a local spiritual community. She included a fascinating story about an eagle who thought it was a chicken. You may have heard it or maybe not. I had not, so I thought I’d share this version with you.

There’s an old, quite well known story of a farmer who found an eagle’s egg.
When he got home he put the egg in with the few chickens he kept in his yard. Immediately one of the hens wandered over and sat down over the magnificent egg; and she couldn’t have been prouder.
Sure enough, some weeks later the egg hatched, and from the egg emerged a fine, healthy egret. And as is in the gentle nature of chickens, they didn’t balk at the stranger in their midst and raised the majestic bird as one of their own.

The young eagle grew up with his brother and sister chicks and whatever they did, the eagle did too. It learned to do all the things chickens do: it clucked and cackled, scratching in the dirt for grits and worms, flapping its wings furiously, flying just a foot or two in the air before crashing down to earth in a pile of dust and feathers.
You see, he believed resolutely and absolutely that he was a chicken, and that was what he was supposed to do.  As a consequence, that was all he was able to do.

One day the eagle-who-thought-he-was-a-chicken happened to look up at the sky. High overhead, soaring majestically and effortlessly on the thermals, with scarcely a single beat of its powerful golden wings, was an eagle!
“What’s that?”  the eagle cried in awe. “It’s magnificent! So much power and grace! It’s beautiful!” He was very impressed.
“That’s the eagle, the king of the birds,” the hens told him. “He belongs to the sky. We belong to the earth, we are just chickens.”
With that, they all looked back down once more and continued digging in the dirt.

And so it was that the eagle lived and died a chicken… because that’s all he believed himself to be. He listened to those chickens who told him that’s all that he was.

Well, I want to tell you today that you are an eagle, not a mere chicken [no offence to chickens of course].
You may have been brought up with a limited understanding of your potential, but it’s time now to let go of the past and release its hold on you.

Stop listening to those around you who are trying to put you down and keep you in your place. The naysayers, with their limiting beliefs and false paradigms, and negative energies.

Don’t die thinking you’re a chicken. Soar high, just as you were meant to.
Be all that you are meant to be!

Hope you enjoyed the little story.

Your Guided Imagery From The Incarnation Committee

The following is a guided imagery, first developed by Dr. Carol Woman and then adapted by John Babbs, author of The Divine Hotline. I first learned about it in the wonderful book : The I Of The Storm.

Imagine for a moment the time before your birth when you were wandering the heavens as a disincarnate soul. You were immersed in the beauty and peaceful harmony of paradise when the call went out for volunteers to  incarnate in bodily, human form. A small blue planet in the far reaches of the Milky Way galaxy was experiencing a crisis and was in need of souls who were willing to incarnate in a human body to help out in Earth’s time of need.

You made the decision to volunteer. You next to met with the Incarnation Committee to discuss with its members the part you wanted to play and the work you wanted to do. You made a covenant at that time to do the work you agreed to do. But there was a catch: Not only were you to serve, you were also required to grow. It was your job to increase the intensity of your light and to grow in wisdom and in stature as well as to serve. You next had to make a series of decisions that would perfectly situate you to be of a maximum service and to develop a custom- designed learning curriculum for your soul to assure its maximum learning potential.

You had to decide what particular set of gifts, talents, and abilities you wished to bring with you to contribute to life on Earth and to the human family; the dreams and aspirations that would lead you to your destiny
to fulfill your earthly covenant; a date of birth determining an astrological configuration that would give you clues to your soul’s earthly purpose and destiny; a place on Earth, a climatic zone, a region in which to reside; a racial and ethnic form that would enable you to best express yourself; a socioeconomic class that would provide you with the challenges and benefits you need in order to learn and serve; a spiritual tradition with its particular set of rituals and practices that would support you; a gender with it its attendant opportunities and challenges; parents that would provide you with your particular strengths, with qualities that you could draw upon and with a designated set of difficulties that you would experience with them in order to learn, grow, and to prepare you for the service that you are to perform; your siblings and your relationship to them in age, plus the companionship in the conflicts with them that would provide you with important lessons and resources; and, finally, a name for yourself.

Once these decisions were made, you were free to incarnate and begin your earthly mission, forgetting all that went on before, but with time, you would slowly but surely begin to rediscover why you are here and how wisely you chose because every factor in your life has perfectly positioned you for the service you are to perform and has maximized your potential for learning and growing.

Hope you enjoyed the imagery.

Ho’oponopono- WHAT?

Hoʻoponopono
Maybe you’ve heard about it, or a version of the story about it?
If not, keep reading. If you have, maybe you could use a refresher.
Anyway, here’s the legendary story that I was told a number of years ago about this Hoʻoponopono.

It’s about a psychotherapist in Hawaii who was hired to help at the Hawaiian State Hospital for the insane. It seems that the patients in a certain section of the hospital were totally out of control.

You see, the ward where they kept the criminally insane patients was a very dangerous place. Psychologists and psychiatrists would quit on a regular basis and the other staff would frequently and consistently call in sick or simply resign. Visitors and employees would walk through the ward with their backs against the wall because they were afraid of being attacked by the patients.
It was not a safe place to either work, or live.

A few months after the new psychotherapist came to the ward, patients who had previously been restrained started being allowed to walk about freely. Others, who had been heavily medicated, had their medications reduced since they no longer needed them.
Disgruntled staff began to enjoy coming to work. Absenteeism rates plummeted and employee turnover all but disappeared.

The new psychotherapist worked in that ward for some three years and by the end of his term the ward for the criminally insane was closed down because almost all of the patients had healed. Hopeless cases were eventually released back into society or transferred to less secure accommodations.

So, what happened to change things so dramatically?
Well, the strange thing is that this psychotherapist never saw any of the patients professionally, nor did he counsel them at all. He merely review their files.
And as he regularly studied each individual patient file, he would repeat a mantra over and over: “I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.”

The psychotherapist’s name was Dr Ihaleakala Hew Len. He was an expert in the spiritual practice called Ho’oponopono.
Hoʻoponopono is a Hawaiian ritual of reconciliation and forgiveness. The Hawaiian word translates into English simply as “correction”. Correction of self.

Dr Hew Len said this about what he did: “I was simply cleaning the part of me that I shared with them.” He further explained that, “…total responsibility for your life, means that everything in your life, simply because it is in your life, is your responsibility. In a literal sense, the entire world is your creation.”

So, it would seem that we are all part of one consciousness, and therefore everything that is in our experience is affected by our actions. By everything we think, say and do. We are all responsible for everything that we experience! It’s a shared consciousness where as one person’s consciousness changes, it affects the whole.

Now you have likely heard the following quote attributed to Mahatma Gandhi: “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” Actually, what he really said was this:
“We but mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.”

Very similar to Ho’oponopono – no?
Quite interesting isn’t it?
Do you believe it?
Or do you find it pretty hard to swallow?
Let’s see –maybe there really is something to it?
Instead of blaming a god, devil, circumstances, or other people for what happens in your life– perhaps you just need to accept responsibility for all of it?
Wow! That’s certainly way beyond anything I have been taught or that the “world accepts as true”.
So, it’s gotta be pure bullpoop right?
Or is it?
I’ll leave it for you to decide.

Repentance – I’M SORRY.
Forgiveness – PLEASE FORGIVE ME.
Gratitude – THANK YOU.
Love – I LOVE YOU.

Keep manifesting only good things :)

10 Steps to Attract the Life You Want

By Heather Mathews
Author of Manifestation Miracle

“What you seek is seeking you.” – Rumi

If I told you that you could create the exact type of circumstances you want, would you call me crazy?
What if your very thoughts could create ripples of change that not only impact your life…but those around you as well?

Philip, a call center worker from the Philippines certainly didn’t think so. He dreamed of moving overseas so he could secure a better life and provide for his family.
But at every turn, his own mind shut down every opportunity he thought of.
For instance, Philip considered seeing an immigration consultant, but he either “didn’t have the time” or “couldn’t afford it”.

So, he resented his situation and cursed himself (and the world) for his “bad luck”.
He didn’t realize that the real culprit was his mindset – not his circumstances.
And it seemed like the more he ruminated, the more bad things happened.

Thus, he kept feeding the cycle of being stuck in a rut and feeling bad, trapping him even more.
That was, until his aunt Sara introduced him to the Law of Attraction.

Turning the tide

Before she moved to California, Sara had been close with Philip and treated him like a son.
She had her own share of struggles finding greener pastures abroad, but she applied the principles from the Law of Attraction to overcome them.
So she sent a few books on the topic to Philip through Amazon so he could gain the clarity to turn his life around.

Click Here To Discover Phil’s Secret To Getting Everything He Ever Wished For

At first, Philip didn’t really think much of it, but he decided to read through the books since his aunt went through the trouble of sending them over.
After he started applying the lessons he learned from the material, things started to change for him.
It came as a complete shock to Philip – he never thought in a million years that making a simple shift in his thinking could have such a direct and POWERFUL impact in his life.
And soon enough, the fog of negativity and despair around Philip lifted and he found a way to make his dreams happen.
Through his persistence, he was eventually able to borrow the money he needed for the consultation fees, and learned the step-by-step process to get work overseas.
Philip was finally able to find a fulfilling and rewarding career in Australia. Not only does he get to support his family back home, he also made friends and enjoys his new life abroad.

Just a few months ago, Philip’s parents started their own business, thanks to his help.
At the rate they’re going, his family could save enough so they can pass on their business to another relative and follow Philip to Australia.
Whatever option Philip chooses, the possibilities for him are almost limitless.

But he’s just one of thousands who made the Law of Attraction to work for him. Like Philip, a lot of people are initially discouraged to try because they think it takes a lot of work.
But the reality is that it’s surprisingly easy to get started. You just need to follow these 10 Super Simple Steps to Attract Everything You’ve Ever Wanted:

Step #1: A little gratitude goes a long way

The first thing you should learn about the Law of Attraction is that it operates on energy.
YOUR energy, to be exact.
Everyone has a different kind of energy they bring into the world, and it affects them in ways they often don’t see or appreciate.
The secret lies in the FREQUENCY of a person’s energy -and you need to raise yours in order to change your life.
Think of your unique energy as a sort of gas that fills the space of your reality. Whatever “gas” or “energy” you pump out into your immediate space will define your existence.

Viktor Frankl, a psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor, said this in his book, “Man’s Search for Meaning”:
“To draw an analogy: a man’s suffering is similar to the behavior of a gas. If a certain quantity of gas is pumped into an empty chamber, it will fill the chamber completely and evenly, no matter how big the chamber. Thus suffering completely fills the human soul and conscious mind, no matter whether the suffering is great or little. Therefore the “size” of human suffering is absolutely relative.”

So if you want to invite great things into your life, you need to set the stage first. And you can do that by leading with the right energy.
That’s why being grateful and appreciating what you have is powerful way to recalibrate your frequency.
Most folks hold off on feeling this way for AFTER they get what they want. But that’s putting the cart before the horse, as the saying goes.
When you LEAD with gratitude, it will act as the precedent for everything good that follows.

What I like to do is start off my day by making a list of things that I’m grateful for. If I miss anything, I save it for later and update my list at the end of my day.
And when I go over my list during the weekend, I’ll see exactly how much good stuff I’ve accumulated.
This creates a kind of snowball effect and helps me attract even MORE good stuff down the road.

Step #2: Be generous

This can be a challenge for some people if they feel like there isn’t enough to go around.
But if you take the initiative to SHARE whatever you can without asking anything in return…you’ll generate the kind of energy that attracts prosperity for everyone…including YOU.
Again, this is the Law of Attraction at work.
Try offering your time, talents and material wealth to those who need it – you’ll soon invite blessings without even trying.

Step #3: Visualize your future

What I find amazing about kids is how powerful their imaginations are.
When they role-play with other children, you can see in their eyes how REAL their games are to them.
This is something that’s lost on grown-ups, and it’s important to recapture that ability to envision the kind of reality you want.
The Universe likes to play games with us- the better you are at visualizing, the more you’ll be rewarded.
Like I said, a certain type of energy attracts a certain kind of reality.
So if you focus your energy and thoughts on that dream job you want or the car you’ve always wanted to drive, you’ll raise your frequency to ATTRACT those exact things.

Step #4: Let the negativity pass

When the bad times roll in and you feel like dirt, sometimes it’s better to step aside and let it run its course.
Having negative thoughts and emotions are totally normal, but you don’t always have to wrestle with them.
You can simply acknowledge what’s going on in your inner world – then CHOOSE to keep moving forward anyway.
Let this negative energy pass through your system like a bad case of gas. The sooner you let it do its thing, the quicker you can get back to what you were doing.
(Sorry for the fart analogy, but it get the point across, doesn’t it?)

Step #5: Never stop growing

It’s good to have a daily routine in your life, but not at the expense of your personal development.
Most people are so set in their ways that they’re afraid of the thought of doing something new.
Then they complain about their humdrum lives, or that some folks “have all the luck.”
Breaking out of your comfort zone is never an easy thing, but it’s a step worth taking.
No matter how loaded your schedule is, find some chunks of time to do things that will help you grow.
Whether it’s taking an online course, joining a community, or taking up a hobby, this is a powerful way to attract new and exciting things in your life.

Step #6: Avoid the “toxic” crowd

There are people who seem hell-bent on pulling others into their world of misery.
Whether they’re trying to lessen their own pain or simply enjoy doing it, you need to steer clear of them.
Instead, choose people who will have the opposite effect on your psyche. Not only does a person’s energy attract circumstances, it’s also CONTAGIOUS.
So make sure you hang out with the people who’ll inspire you to achieve greater things – and not bring you down with apathy or inaction.

Step #7: Give yourself permission to succeed

Most of the world’s most brilliant people were put down in some way.
Somewhere along the way, someone told them they’d “never make it” or were “destined to fail.”
In your own life, certain people have tried to discourage you in some way.
They might have tried putting you down when you were growing up – or it could have been last week.
It doesn’t matter.
What’s important is that you understand that NO ONE can put labels on you.
And more importantly, they can NEVER give you permission to achieve what you want in life. You need to do that for yourself.
Don’t let their words define your “story”. You don’t have to fit whatever petty narrative they’re trying to force on you.

Step #8: Affirm who you are

Instead of feeding into the lies that people tell you, let this be the day to start living your truth.
Create statements that embody the truth you choose to be, AND to live in.
People do this all the time.
When Elon Musk tried to launch the world’s first privately owned rocket and failed, he told himself, “I’m going to try again, and I WILL get that thing into orbit.” (Well, maybe not exactly like that, but you get the point.)
And so his company SpaceX went back to the drawing board and got it right after the third attempt.
Elon affirmed his truth and it manifested into reality. In the same way, you can choose to affirm whatever truth applies to you.
Be honest with yourself and acknowledge the things that TRULY matter to you.
You know it, and the Universe knows it.

The key is to repeat it to yourself every day. For example, if you know deep in your heart that you want to make a better life for yourself, you can say something like this:
“I may be struggling right now, but I know deep inside that I have what it takes to improve my life. I see myself transforming into a happier, wealthier person who makes other people’s lives brighter.”

When you operate from even the tiniest shred of truth, you can grow that into a powerful force over time.

Step #9: Fail spectacularly

Here’s something most people don’t know about the Law of Attraction: before you can enjoy success and find true happiness, you need to crash and burn.
It’s better to go after what you want and risking failure rather than playing it safe and not trying at all.
To create order in your life, you’ll have to embrace the chaos that comes before it.
This is where you’ll find the real lessons, even if they hurt a little.
(Or in some cases, a LOT).
Think of yourself as the beautiful Phoenix, like in the legends.
Imagine burning off bits and pieces of yourself that you don’t need. As you rise from the ashes, you’re reborn into a NEW YOU.
That’s evolution. It may be an imperfect and unpleasant process, but the results are worth it.

Step #10: Remove your BIGGEST barrier to success

People don’t realize that their greatest roadblock is none other than their own mindset.
They may say they want something to happen, but don’t REALLY mean it.
For instance, someone might want to lose weight, but they don’t want it bad enough.
Worse, they might not actually believe they can shed those pounds. A part of them refuses to acknowledge the faintest possibility of it happening.
This is pretty much why people NEVER attract the things they want in life.
In order to remove this barrier, you’ll need to change something inside you.
You need to dig deep and understand WHY you don’t want it as much as you say you do.
Are you scared of suffering through the process of getting what you want?
This is what turns most people off – they simply can’t process the discomfort involved with growing up.
At the same time, you need to deal with the reasons why you think that your desired reality is impossible.
It could be some deep-seated beliefs brought about by past events, or experiences growing up.
Once you sort this out, you’ll be free to do what you want without any pre-programmed beliefs holding you back.

Now, these ten steps we just talked about will get your foot in the door. Once you start taking them regularly, you’ll experience remarkable breakthroughs you didn’t think were possible.
But if you want to witness even MORE changes on a massive (or even cosmic) scale, you need to check out my FULL course called Manifestation Miracle.
Like the name suggests, I enjoyed nothing short of a life-changing revolution not too long ago.
In a lot of ways, my situation was the same as Philip’s. I worked myself to the bone and felt unfulfilled.
I was trapped in my soul-crushing career. Even though I needed the money, I HATED having to put up a hollow appearance of a happy, successful businesswoman.
But then I discovered how turn my mind into a magnet for prosperity and abundance…

A Controversial Version of the Lord’s Prayer

I was raised in a strict Roman Catholic family. Along with the Hail Mary, I used to recite the Lord’s Prayer almost daily. I even considered becoming a priest.

Over time I could no longer accept Roman Catholic dogma and eventually joined the United Church. But I kept searching for my spiritual centre. Perhaps like you.

I investigated Buddhism, Hinduism, Theosophy, Baha’i, Rosicrucianism and Unitarian beliefs. I read the Bible, the Qur’an, the Bhagavad Gita and other sacred texts. Practiced yoga and meditation. Studied and took courses in The Silva Method, Neurolinguistic Programming , Therapeutic Touch, Reiki, Emotional Freedom Technique [EFT or Tapping], metaphysics and the Law Of Attraction. Joined Unity.

All the while I continued to read, investigate, study, learn, grow and evolve as a “spiritual being in an earth suit”. Part of my research led me to this new interpretation of The Lord’s Prayer.

It has apparently been helpful to many people.  Perhaps it will be of assistance to you too.

You see, today we have available many more accurate translations of this prayer. They reveal that it was originally intended to be a series of affirmations. They are intended as a frame of reference in which to think about and pray the Lord‘s Prayer.

You can use this version on its own merit. As part of your daily ritual or morning routine.

Note the “traditional” words which are then followed by the reinterpretation of each affirmation.

Our Father who art in heaven: I am now conscious of the infinite and eternal Presence in whom I live and by which I think and create.

Hallowed be Thy name: This Presence in me is whole and complete. It is the activity of health that heals, of intelligence that inspires, of substance that prospers, and of love that harmonizes.

Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven: I am a glorious possibility of the Presence. I now let its perfect idea of me unfold in me and through me. My desire for betterment is the desire of the Presence to perfect that which it is expressing as me, and I let it have its way. I see myself doing that which it sees me as being.

Give us this day our daily bread: I have no existence outside of the Presence, for I am that Presence expressing as me. Therefore, I can never be separated from the all-sufficient substance of the opulent Universe. I claim my divine inheritance and I daily, perpetually, manifest abundant supply.

And forgive us our trespassers, as we forgive those who trespass against us: The Presence in me is my potential for dissolving all conflicts or transgression. The Presence is Love, and it lives in me and through me as I forgive. It releases me as I loose and let go of all my limited thoughts about myself or others.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
: The Presence in me is my light and my deliverance. There is no darkness in the light, and there can be no darkness in me when I am established in spiritual unity with the Presence within me – which is “better than light and safer than a known way”.

[For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever and ever]: In all that I seek to be or do or have, I humbly realize that in the Presence is my power to think, my very thought of aspiration, my will to commence, my strength to keep on, my power to achieve, and the glory of all my accomplishments.

Amen: This is the truth, and it is now done.

This interpretation has been adapted from “Discover The Power Within You [ A Guide To The Unexplored Depths Within]”, by the “20th century Emerson”, Eric Butterworth. Feel free to revise it for your own use.

In this version I have taken the liberty of replacing the word “God” with the word “Presence”.  To some people, the name of God has negative connotations. They think of the God of the Old Testament. The old guy with the white beard who sits on his golden throne up in heaven, judging and condemning, full of wrath, and damning sinners to hell. The God that humanity had made in the image of man, rather than the one who created man in his image.

How To Perfectly Start Your Day

So – how do you start your day?

That’s a question I sometimes get asked.

I answered it in a broadcast e-mail I sent out to the AbundanceTogether community a while back, and it got a lot of positive responses.

So, here is my morning practice, my routine, with a few amendments. I:

  • Wake up early, open my eyes and check the time.
  • Meditate for a few minutes, focussing on my breath
  • Look at the lake, beach, and sky and thank the Universe
  • Ask myself and answer 2 important questions:
  1. What can I do today to be even more financially secure, healthy, loved and loving, now and in the future?
  2. What can I do today to wake up every day feeling vibrant, passionate and excited about living my purpose, enjoying everything around me, and leading a meaningful, fulfilling and free life?
  • Go to my office, turn on my computer and look at my Vision Board
  • Leave my sleeping wife and go downstairs
  • Say hi to my cat Harley
  • Do a brief foot exercise to a avoid plantar fasciitis.
  • Use the toilet, brush my teeth and drink some warm water with cider vinegar
  • Check my weight, the weather, and my schedule for the day
  • Do some Mirror Work
  • Take my vitamins, supplements and nutrients
  • Make coffee
  • Feed the cat
  • Go for a run
  • Work out [Tabata]
  • Make and eat breakfast and drink some coffee
  • Visualize
  • Write in my Gratitude Journal
  • State my Vision, Mission, Purpose, Expectations and Intentions
  • Repeat selected Affirmations and Declarations
  • Perform a Tapping [EFT] exercise
  • Read some Motivational/Spiritual literature
  • Review some of my Goals
  • Shower, shave [every day or two] and get dressed
  • Do a guided Meditation [sample noted below] or listen to an audio, including binaural beats.
  • Check e-mails and messages and get on with my great day.

Now, how do YOU start your day?

Your morning practice will affect the rest of your day, so make it a good one.

Some experts say it takes 21 days to set up a good new habit or break a self-limiting one, others say it takes 10-12 weeks [3 months].

Either way, you can do it!!

For more information on some of these practices, check out my other blogs or send me an e-mail and I can direct you to some great resources.

Love you and keep manifesting 🙂

The 5 Reasons Why You Are Worthy Of Wealth

Here’s a guest blog from Dr. Steve G. Jones, creator of Total Money Magnetism .  Enjoy

This might sound a little strange… but do you truly believe that you DESERVE wealth?

Sometimes the number one thing holding people back from manifesting wealth is that deep in their subconscious minds, they don’t really believe that they are worthy of a financially-free life.

There are many reasons why someone may feel that they aren’t worthy of being wealthy, and we’ll get to these soon.

But what you need to know right now is that believing that you are deserving of a life of abundance is VITAL to being able to manifest all of the money and success you want.

Because attracting wealth doesn’t comes from living in fear of what you don’t want – being ‘poor’ and struggling – it comes from a place of self-love, acceptance, and belief.

So that’s why today, I want to share with you five reasons why you ARE worthy and deserving of wealth, and show you how you can break free from the false beliefs that are holding you back right now…

1. There is an abundance of money in the Universe just waiting for you to let it in.

First of all, there is no shortage of money in this world. There really isn’t.

Money is abundant, and there is plenty available for all who reach for it, including you.

Does this idea sound a little crazy to you right now?

If so, that’s OK. But it may mean that you are operating from a ‘scarcity mentality’ right now.

A scarcity mindset tells you that there is a lack of money to go around and a lack of opportunities to make money.

And when you believe that money is limited, you can start to compare yourself to others and find reasons why you ‘fall short’ – why you don’t deserve to have as much as others.

You feel anxious and helpless about your finances, and as a result you never move forward.

On the other hand is the empowering mindset of abundance.

You will be free from the fear and doubt that previously kept you stuck in a cycle of struggle, and open to a future of financial freedom.

When you train your brain to develop an abundant mindset, you will discover that there are ALWAYS new opportunities to make money, and that you deserve to have wealth just as much as everyone else.

Do you have a ‘scarcity brain’ or a ‘rich brain’

2. Money has no prerequisites. You are already enough.

One of the things about having a scarcity mindset is believing that you have to be a certain kind of person to be wealthy.

For example, that you need to be top-of-the-class smart, have a career in dentistry or law, be a ‘trust-fund baby’, or a workaholic that never has time for fun.

The truth is, wealth has no ‘prerequisites’ – ANYONE can become wealthy, no matter what their background.

And whether or not you realize it yet, you have your own special strengths and talents that have the potential to bring great wealth into your life!

In fact, you may not believe it right now but I guarantee that there is an opportunity waiting for you to turn one of your passions into a source of income… you just need to recognize it.

3. You are not limited by your past.

It doesn’t matter what has happened in your past, your age, or how ‘bad’ you may have been with money… you can still manifest a future of wealth and abundance!

It happened for me. At the lowest point in my life, I was $80,000 in credit card debt, literally living in my office, and on the brink of a nervous breakdown. I just couldn’t see a way out of it.

But now, I can happily say that I am a multi, multi-millionaire, free of all debt, and every day of my life is more amazing than I ever dreamed it could be.

How did I get from that point to this point? And, how can you transform your own life in the same way?

Well, that is a story too long for this article. But if you’re interested in learning how I went from being thousands in debt to a cash millionaire in just a few years, then you can check out my story here.

4. Everyone deserves the chance to live a rich, happy life.

Does that family down the road living in that 2-storey mansion and driving late-model BMWs really deserve wealth more than you do?

No way.

You, just as much as anyone, deserve the chance to live your richest, happiest life.

So if money troubles are preventing you from living that life right now – a life where you are free to live the way you want – then it’s time to look at your relationship with money and how it is affecting the energy you are producing.

If you are feeling unhappy, frustrated, or fearful about your finances, unfortunately these emotions will be causing you to manifest only more of what you DON’T want – more doubt, more fear, and more scarcity.

In this situation, trying to manifest wealth is like trying to plant a ‘money tree’ in poisoned soil… it simply won’t grow.

But if you can cultivate a mindset of abundance and self-love, this will be the foundation from which your financial success can flourish.

5. By manifesting wealth in your own life, you can help to enrich the lives of others.

One of the great things about having money is that you can use it to help others. Giving back to help others in need and spreading the message of abundance is incredibly rewarding.

One way you can do this is by donating money or resources to charity.

I personally support a number of charities – particularly the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as my Mom died of leukemia and the American Lung Association as my Dad died of emphysema.

Another way to do this is by helping your children to develop an abundant mindset and educating them about managing money, so that they too can enjoy an abundant future.

Personally, through my work as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and wealth coach, I try to help as many people as I can to free their minds from barriers to wealth and experience the financial freedom they deserve.

You are worthy of wealth. You are deserving of wealth. And now, you just need to start believing it, so that you can start manifesting all of the wealth you deserve!

What’s Your Reaction When I Use, Or You Hear, The Term “God”?

So, how do you react when you hear the word “God”?

Well, if you’re anything like me, maybe you cringe a bit. You see, the “God” I learned about when I was a kid was the “God” of the Bible [particularly the Old Testament]. The same one as in the Quran and the Torah. A vengeful, punishing, and demanding being. That was the “God” of my parents and of my church [I was raised in a very conservative Roman Catholic home]. Mary Morrissey in Prosperity Plus suggested that this “God” needed to take some anger management courses. To me “He” was anything but unconditional love.

I stopped believing in that old version of “God” a long time ago.

And I began a lifelong search for a new version. A god that I could relate to and that would relate to me.

Now, Natalie Ledwell of Mind Movies says “…universal source energy, or God, is the timeless physical and nonphysical energy that makes up all things and holds everything together. It’s the building block of everything we see and don’t see.  In essence it’s the natural energy flow of life.”

Joan Borysenko adds “… god is one of the most loaded words in the English language. It has often served as a screen for our projections of fear, inadequacy and intolerance.”

And Neale Donald Walsch tells us that, contrary to what I was taught “Man was not created in the image of God but instead created god in the image of man.”

So, following that line of thinking, the “God” I was taught about was merely a larger version of ourselves.

And that caused me some difficulty.

So, I did a bit of research and found that there were more names for “God” than I ever imagined.

Some call Infinite Intelligence “God”. Others call Him/Her/It  [in no particular order] the Source, the Divine Presence, the Abundant Universe, Spirit, Divine Mind, the One, Principle, Substance, the Universe, the Good, Higher Power, All That Is, the Total Field of Possibilities, the Goddess, the Essence, the Holy Spirit, Allah, Supreme Being, the Tao, or the Oneness.

“God” is also known as the Infinite, the Eternal, the Truth, Logos, The Word, Vortex, Krishna, the Almighty, Lord, Creator, Yahweh, Heavenly Father, Prime Mover, First Cause, Alpha and Omega, Christ Consciousness, the Force, Jehovah, Holy Mother, Creator, Great Spirit, Yahweh, The I Am, Shiva, Tara, Inanna, the Light, Shakti, Ishwara, Ram, Infinite mind, Jesus, Divine Presence and more.

A rose by any other name…..

Personally I choose, or prefer to use, the terms the Source, Divine Mind, or the Universe. No matter what name you choose to use to describe this oneness, I believe it is the same vibrational energy, an essence, which permeates all substance and anything and everything that exists. I suppose you could just call it “Life”. All that is.

Maybe your god is science, money, career, beauty, fame, celebrity, or intellect. But that god of yours is not really the complete god. It’s only a very small portion of the all.

According to A Course of Love, “Everyone has a god because everyone has a being and an identity for being. Everyone carries the memory of I Am.”

So, stop cringing [if that’s what you do] when you hear the word “God”, as if it was the rule-making, punishing, and authoritarian version of old that you remembered. Instead, celebrate the new version of the loving Source.

Raise your glass in a toast. L’chaim [ləḥayyīm]: To LIFE.

What and Why Not To Believe

A while back my brother and I travelled south to Florida for a week
To visit an old friend.
The 3 of us toured, and talked and laughed a lot.
One of our many conversations dealt with the topic of beliefs and how they shape our world.

Or at least how we view our world.
We also talked about “fake news” which seems to be quite a sensitive topic down in the United States.
As soon as I returned home I checked out a quote I had read.
It was in the notes from the Absolute Abundance course I had taken earlier this year.
Here it is:

“Do not believe anything simply because you have heard it.
Do not believe anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many.
Do not believe anything simply because it is found in your religious books.
Do not believe anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders
Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for generations
But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”
Buddha

Wow.
He and so many other great masters/avatars of the past were so far ahead of their time, weren’t they?
As the late great Dr. Wayne Dyer said “You’ll see it when you believe it.”
So, change your beliefs, and you will change your life.
By changing your beliefs you will change what you think, say, and do.

And you will change your results.
It’s worked for me.
Let it work for you.
Find the answers inside of you.
Namaste.
